Stopping up for Christmas
Was going to try and organise a crowd and pour foundations for this weekend had forgotten about the builders holidays though. So now we will close the site off for the christmas and try and get back into once the holidays are over. Must secure the place too as we had a little incident there during the week somone turned the diesel tap on the bulldozer off. Must get some of that security fence panels €62 each

Well Jollyman. I have been following your progress and although it may seem slow once you get over the Christmas the lads will be mad for a few quid so it might take off for you. Keep up the blog. I'm finding it very interesting and I hope to commence my own house in Meath next year and your info is very helpful. Best of luck and Happy Christmas
well jollyman how're things now. myself and my new wife as thinking about building a house and i was wondering if my wife could actually meet up with u some time to discuss whats involved? as i'm always away on business

John,Im sure we can arrange something. Have ye decided to go with a builder or direct labour yet?
direct labour plenty of hands on, let me know if any perticular days suits, she has her own car and is prepared to travel!
